When Did Jayne Mansfield Pass Away?

Iconic actress and dancer Jayne Mansfield was only 34 years old when she passed away in a fatal car accident on June 29, 1967, on US Highway 90.

The late actress, along with her three children and two companions, was on her way to New Orleans for her next day’s shoot on WDSU’s Midday Show. Their car crashed into a tracker trailer at midnight, killing Jayne and her pals on the spot.

Her kids survived as they were in the back seat. The actress now rests buried beside her father in Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania.
